As we continue put together the initial framework for Midheaven, Inc. there are a few areas where we need help. Most importantly, we need three additional board members to formalize the organization and start the 501(c)(4) application process wit the IRS. Secondly, we’re seeking musicians to be part of the Midheaven house band. Additionally, I have knowledge gaps in fundraising and could use some assistance there. And lastly, some help when we tackle the building renovation would be amazing.

Board Member (Volunteer)
Location: Vermont (Remote possible)
Commitment: Regular participation in board meetings and activities
Experience: Nonprofit governance, finance, legal affairs, community outreach preferred
Description: Join us as a foundational Board Member to guide our strategic direction in creating a sanctuary for spiritual healing, arts, and music. Contribute to policy development, financial oversight, and act as a community ambassador.

Fundraising Assistant (Volunteer)
Location: Vermont (Remote possible)
Commitment: 5-10 hours weekly
Experience: Knowledge of early-stage nonprofit fundraising
Role: Assist in developing and implementing fundraising strategies, identifying grants, and coordinating fundraising activities. Collaborate with our founder, Sabin Densmore, to track and manage efforts.

Musicians for House Band (Volunteer)
Location: Vermont (Some travel involved)
Commitment: 2-3 rehearsals monthly, performances post-new year
Experience: Jazz, cabaret, prog rock, soul, 70s music, backup singing preferred
Description: Join our house band to create soulful and eclectic music for our events. Seeking bassists, drummers, pianists, horn players, lead guitarists, etc. Future plans include recording and paid gigs with shared income.

Renovation and Clean-Up (Volunteer)
Location: Vermont (On-site)
Commitment: 5-10 hours weekly
Experience: Comfort with physical tasks and some heavy lifting
Description: Be part of transforming our property into a vibrant community space. Assist in renovation and cleanup activities, including material moving, light construction, and general maintenance.
