The following is a list of items/services Midheaven is in need of, updated regularly. I’ve added dates next to when we were able to get a particular item. We are always seeking donations or looking to bart for anything on the list below.

Items needed

  • Furniture dolly
  • Chainsaw
  • AT&T compatible cell phone (11/23/23)
  • Sale tent (10/6/2023)
  • 20-24hp tractor
  • Electrical cable (for 15A – 20A household wiring)
  • Outlet and Switch boxes
  • Insulation (rigid and/or fiberglass)
  • Ceramic tile (seconds, mis-matched, etc)
  • Stone (flat, paving, etc).
  • Fire bricks, any size
  • Flooring (vinyl, laminate, bamboo, wood, lino, etc)
  • Stretcher bars (24″ – 36″ size)
  • 3/8” plywood sheets
  • Nails (8d, 10d) and screws (wood and sheetrock)
  • rough or finished framing lumber (2×4, 2×6, 2×8)
  • small pickup or van (we lost our vehicle in the flood this summer)

Help needed

  • renovation (prying, pulling, levering, stacking, cheering)
    junk hauling (we reuse or repurpose everything we can, but any scrap metal we have left over is up for grabs)
  • building (measuring, sawing, toting, hammering, celebrating)
  • errands (we haven’t been able to replace ouor vehicle after losing ours to the flood this summer)
  • electrical (measuring, cutting, wiring, not getting shocked)
  • landscape (chansawing, brush-hogging, trail-making, rototilling)
  • making a band (we’d like to do gigs for community benefit by mid-spring or early summer. Danielle is a singer and I play guitar/keys/winds and we need more people for covers and eventually our own songs.)

  • 11/8/2023 – 151 ft2 bamboo flooring given by Joan Vermette of Hirondelle Farm in Maine!
  • 11/15/2023 – Air compressor, miter saw, and joiner donated by the Pierce family! Thank you so much.
  • 11/20/2023 – A gift certificate for building materials donated by the Demuth family in Vermont!
  • 12/19/2023 – A donation of a 2014 mini-van and money for the fees from Carl, Pam, and Timothy Brezak and Naomi Densmore.
