Foundational Board Members
Now that we’re officially established as a non-profit organization in Vermont, it’s time to form our board! We are dedicated to creating a sanctuary for spiritual healing, arts, and music. Our mission is to forge a space where individuals can explore their spiritual and artistic paths within a supportive community. We are at an exciting point in our journey and are seeking three passionate, visionary individuals to join us as volunteer board members.
Location:
Vermont (Remote possible)
Commitment:
Regular participation in board meetings and organizational activities
Experience:
Experience or skills in nonprofit governance, finance, legal affairs, community outreach, or relevant fields preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and policy development
- Participate in decision-making, program planning, and financial oversight
- Act as an ambassador for Midheaven, Inc.
- Attend and contribute to board meetings and organizational activities

Volunteer Musicians Wanted for Jazz/Prog/Funk/70s-Inspired House Band
Midheaven, Inc. invites talented musicians to join our house band. We currently have a lead singer, a saxophonist/rhythm guitarist/budding keyboardist, and are equipped with a piano, drum kit, trumpet, and guitars. We’re looking to round out our sound and are seeking passionate musicians. If you play the bass, drums, piano, horns, lead guitar, or any other instrument that complements our style, we’d love to hear from you!
Location:
Vermont plus some travel as we get going
Commitment:
Two or three rehearsals a month, with performances beginning after the first of the year
Experience:
We’re looking for musicians with a flair for jazz, cabaret, prog rock, soul, and/or 70s music and willingness to sing backup are preferred, but all interested parties are encouraged to apply.

Volunteer Opportunity: Renovation and Clean-Up Crew
We are at the beginning of our transformative journey to create a sanctuary for spiritual healing, arts, and music for all and we need enthusiastic volunteers to join our renovation and clean-up crew. This is a hands-on opportunity to be part of an early-stage nonprofit organization that values community, creativity, and sustainability.
Location:
Vermont (on-site)
Commitment:
Approximately 5-10 hours a week working in out-buildings on an old farm property.
Experience:
No specific experience required, but comfort with physical tasks and some heavy lifting is necessary
Role Overview:
As a member of our renovation and clean-up team, you will play a vital role in preparing our property for the next phase of development. Your efforts will directly contribute to shaping Midheaven, Inc. into a nurturing space for spiritual and artistic growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in clean-up and renovation activities, including clearing, organizing, and transformation barn rooms into community-accessible spaces
- Participate in the transformation of our garage, turning it into a vibrant programming space for community events and workshops
- Engage in various tasks such as moving materials, light construction, painting, and general maintenance
- Work alongside other volunteers and team members in a collaborative and supportive environment
