At its most practical level, this project is about the transformation of 12 acres, a hen house, and a 150-year old farmhouse with attached barn in the heart of Vermont into a sustainable, community-focused center for spiritual healing, music, performance, and the arts.

Our goal is to provide long-term and reliable community-accessible sacred spaces for musical & creative experiences, shared studios, residencies, education, and festivals that support the spirit of life and love in all their disparate forms. Healing, meditation, creation, and sanctuary are all part of our vision.

Midheaven is about healing, resurrection, and overcoming loss of self to a machine-dream and manifesting that new, positive energy into the world through acts of community carnival in the face of social and environmental upheaval.

Initially conceived of by Sabin & Danielle in 2021 as they worked to emerge from their own mental and emotional darknesses, the project is funded through self-earned income, donations, and by the efforts of the collective itself. We expect to hold our first public event at Midheaven as part of First Night celebrations in Hardwick on December 31, 2023.
